Fire Departments and Hazmat Units

Fire departments and HAZMAT units can use FC2000 for cleanup caused from accidents. There are over two dozen units in Iowa now using FC2000 for absorbing gasoline, oil, antifreeze, and related petroleum products. This product has also been used for over three years by some reputable Midwest service stations for accidental cleanup problems. This product has been EPA approved and is also environmentally safe.

With the addition of socks and pads to our inventory, we now have new unique items that have proven to be exceptionally effective. Because of the extra weight and absorbency, our socks are ideal for containing spills and placing in front of sewers or spillways or areas where dangerous liquids could contaminate soil or drain into unwanted areas. The socks are 2"x 48" or 3" x 48". The pads are 10" square with three seams equal distant apart to hold the product in place. The large pads are 17" square with five seams.

What would happen if a tanker truck had the top hatches not secured properly and the "spent solvents" mixture spilled on the tanker and roadway?
A hazardous materials response team used FC2000 to absorb the product from the top and sides of the tanker and also the road so it could be collected and put into an over-pack. This product worked extremely well.

Will FC2000 work on all liquids?
Fire departments and hazmats have used this product for the past 11 years gas, oil, diesel fuels, antifreeze, acids (after being neutralized) jet fuels, 32% liquid nitrogen, blood, and even cleaning after a methanol plant spill. We have yet to find any liquid that FC2000 does not absorb.
