FC2000 - The Drying Agent For All Uses

Our business started back in 1999 when my brother, Jim, and I started manufacturing a product initially marketed as Fielder's Choice. Both of us saw the need for a fast, durable product to apply on wet baseball fields. Our passion for baseball as youngsters followed with our continuation into slow-pitch softball and coaching both baseball and softball in the spring and summer. The biggest fears for both the organizers as well as the teams were rain delays and playing in sub par conditions.

The introduction of Fielder's Choice was unanimously received extremely well. The consistency of five non-toxic, environmentally safe, biodegradable, EPA-approved ingredients was viewed far superior than the current available products.

Based upon this market acceptance, our company mission continued to explore other purposes for use with this high quality, absorbent, drying agent. This also allowed production and sales to become more consistent than seasonal. Due to our new strategy, we decided to change the name to FC 2000 to incorporate both the new millennium as well as the unlimited uses seen within this product.

A brief listing of applications consists of ANY liquids including oil, gasoline, liquid chemicals, herbicides, liquid pesticides, blood, and acids (if neutralized). Various current customers have included industrial/environmental service companies, fire departments, HAZMAT units, petroleum suppliers, high school and major league tournaments, and baseball teams.

Over the past decade-plus in business, both Jim and I have self-reflected upon our zeal as entrepreneurs. Our personal satisfaction of launching our business, product, and customer base has been truly rewarding. Our realization of a two-man operation also has been painstakingly witnessed.

We have now fully realized the definition of a small business and the extreme limitations it creates both personally as well as financially. Handling every aspect of manufacturing, marketing, shipping, AR/AP's, and travel have hindered our accomplishments.

Our mutual decision has now determined the solicitation of our business based upon market restraints, financials, age, and health.

FC2000 has been proven to work on all of these problems. Will other absorbents do this?

BASBALL - State high school tournaments, CABA international tournaments, American Legion State tournaments have all used this product with unbelievable results.

LIQUID SPILLS - Gas, oil antifreeze, diesel fuel, jet fuel, acids, when neutralized, chemicals, blood, and many more liquids have been absorbed, DRIED and odor removed.

PET OWNERS - Using FC2000 under litter has extended usefulness and removed odor for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and other small animals.

DAMP BASEMENTS - Remove as much water as possible first. Sprinkle a quarter of an inch of FC2000 on a damp areas and leave it overnight - most of the mildew odor will be removed. Sweep up and put on lawn or field, environmentally safe. Not advised for use on carpet.

ICE - Fantastic traction on ice.

GUN SAFES, SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES - Place small pads inside to absorb and dry and remove odor. Pads work great for removing excess oil on guns as well.

FARM CHEMICALS - FC2000 is also used to absorb and dry all farm chemicals. Once the chemicals have been absorbed and dried, the farmer can then decide what he wants to do with the product that remains. If the chemical doesn't have to be dispersed in a liquid form, then he can mix it with anything that he is spreading on his field. Just from an environmental standpoint it's just what they need. If they would have a large spill, the cleanup cost could be astronomical.
